How do I keep Windows 8 Release Preview secure from malware?
Will I need to install antivirus software on Windows 8 Release Preview?I’m currently using Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows 7, but I don’t see a download option for Windows 8.Are there any antivirus apps compatible with Windows 8?

If you’ve used Security Essentials in the past, Windows Defender on Windows 8 Release Preview will look very familiar. You can find it by typing
Windows Defender on the Start screen, and then clicking the Settings filter.
Can I use Microsoft Security Essentials with Windows 8 Release Preview?
No. You do not need to install Microsoft Security Essentials and it will not work with Windows 8. Microsoft will continue to provide and improve Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. If you are upgrading to Windows 8
Release Preview, you should uninstall Microsoft Security Essentials first. For information on uninstalling Microsoft Security Essentials, see the following Knowledge Base article:
