Mods for Minecraft Windows 10 Beta - my daughter wants Dogs

I've searched online, and followed all the steps, but I don't have a .minecraft folder, which seems to be a requirement. Not sure if this is something different with the newest version? Anyway, I've promised my 8 year old dogs...can anyone help me deliver on that promise??

Minecraft Windows 10 Beta doesn't currently support mods. You need to go to minecraft.net, log in using your Microsoft account credentials, and click the download button from there. You can then follow the online tutorials to add mods to your game. Happy modding :)

P.S. If you haven't already, you will need to enable viewing hidden files in your user directory for the "AppData" folder to appear.
