Method 1: Restart Windows installer service

Ensure that the Windows Installer service is running by following the steps below:
1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type services.msc and press Enter.

3. Locate Windows Installer service in the services list.
4. Right click on it and select "properties".

5. Click "general" tab.

6. Verify that the Status is 'Started'. If the Status column is blank, right click on Windows Installer and select Start.
7. Change the Startup Type to Automatic (default is Manual), and then
restart the computer.

Method 2: System File Checker

Run the system file checker to scan and repair corrupted system files. Follow the steps given in the help article below:
