Hello,

I understand the inconvenience you're going through.

Does it give any error message when it stops respond?

I see developers of adobe has confirmed that the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is compatible with Windows 10. Suggest you try uninstalling the existing one and reinstall the latest fresh copy from the Adobe site and see if it works fine.

On desktop search bar, type Programs and Features and select the same from the list when it appears. Select the existing one from there and click Uninstall. Now download the latest one from this link and try to install it and see if it resolve the issue.

Keep us posted if you require further assistance.

Wcapture_x64.dll should be renamed as Wcapture.dll for bing dictionary,  and the original Wcapture.dll should be abandoned. As a result ,this trick has solved my problem.

I followed your tip and the error didn't show up anymore, but the word capture function in Bing dictionary were also not usable anymore. Do you have this same problem?

Same problem Adobe Acrobat DC not responding to print request.   A lot of churning. I let it go on of more than ten minutes but nothing. What I exit the windows/adobe response is wait until computer responds. This is BS. Either Adobe and/or Microsoft need to address the issue and fix it. Both orgs take a laissez faire dismissive attitude to their users. Fix problem not blame. As for the rename solution; I do not have any species of a dll called WCapture, or (surprise) File explorer can't find it. I came up with a fix however - Nuance Power PDF, I'm using the Pro version, but I guess the standard will do as well. This si not the best solution since Power PDF sometimes needs some finessing and does not play nice with TWAIN driver. But it does print pages of a PDF file without too much hesitation. Looks like this issue has been going on for nearly a year without any resolution.

I am having the same problem. I ran the tool, downloaded the newest version of Adobe Reader DC and installed it. Same problem as before. I basically have given up on Adobe Reader, but I have two documents that can only be opened by Adobe Reader so I need to find a solution.
