Did you made any changes to your PC?
Did you see any windows updates installed recently?
I suspect the issue you have experienced might be a temporary one. Check for any available update for
News App in Windows Store. If any, please update the same to see if it works. Before doing the same please do shutdown your PC completely, restart and then go for installing new update for
News App from Store.
If problem still persist, try run the built in app troubleshooter to see if it fix the issue.
* Press Windows Key then type ‘troubleshoot’ and select the same from the list
* Select “View all” on the left panel and run “Windows Store Apps” troubleshooter from the list
* Click Advanced, ensure to check
Apply repairs automatically and also select Run as administrator
* Click Next and finish the troubleshooting by following the on-screen instructions.
Now go and check if the problem still appears.
