Answer
Hi, I discovered the Windows Explorer Details pane can be used to edit Title and/or Subject properties which when viewed via either the new Photos app or OneDrive photos view will display these as a "Caption" at the bottom of the photo. Additionally the Explorer "Tags" property will flow up to OneDrive and Photos app. In Explorer the tags are words separated by semicolons and in the Photos app they are words beginning with a # sign. My testing seemed to show that file properties flowed up to Photos and OneDrive, but not the other way around - would be curious to hear other's experiences. I am beginning a project to document a project and was looking for the best/easiest way to capture metadata that could be moved around without re-entry. It seems to me first adding metadata in Explorer then working with it in Photos - or sending to Sway - might be one way to work. -Karl
