Mails not being sent to email defined in Reply-To in new Windows 10 mail

I am subscribed to a service from which I receive leads in which from email id is different and reply-to email id is normally of the person who has sent a mail to us. Since I have updated to windows 10 new mail, when I reply, it is sending mail to that email id from which I received the mail but not to the email defined in the reply-to field.

I have cross checked by logging into may online mail box (configured in gmail), when I reply to those mails, it is working correctly  but the same action when taken on the new MAIL of windows 10, it is not working.

Any solution?

Hello,

I've tried the above, and it still does not work. The site I use uses a long unique hash to reply to others on that web site. Is there a length limit hidden in Mail?

I have the same issue. All emails from Envato has "Reply-to" header but for some reason the Mail application ignores it and replies directly to a sender's address. Please help.

This problem is being ignored by Microsoft.

Please launch the windows feedback app, make a search for "reply-to" and upvote the problem.

At the moment, they have like 4 or five votes and are ignoring this feedback.

This is a serious bug! 2 of the biggest websites for secondhand sales in France and Belgium use "reply-to:" so that the replied messages should go to potential buyers. Instead, MAIL is sending back to sender address which is "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***". If you try to contact potential buyer from MAIL, this goes to NULL...

Same problem here, the Reply-To header in the received email message is ignored by Mail when the user replies to the message (sending the reply to the incorrect address).

I put more details of the bug in this note: https://medium.com/@BraunDoug/windows-10-mail-client-broken-ignores-reply-to-header-f64b6a58365f

I clicked on it and voted it up. Definitely a serious big in the program that should be addressed. What good does replying to an email do if it doesn't go where it's supposed to go.

Really embarrassing bug...! Causing problems with our students... way to go Microsoft, I guess we will tell our students to stay away from Win 10/Mail...! Wouldn't think you would want that kind of "advertisement"...!?

And what's worse, you have known about this bug for over a year, and done nothing...!?
