Window Mail has not synced since 3/7/2017 AM

My Windows mail has not been able to sync for either my gmail account or Road Runner account since Tues morning.  I see that the mail app had an update on that date, so I presume that is the root cause of the issue.  How do I resolve?

I had the same problem and a reset of the app through the Apps and Features list and then over advanced options "helped" with the issue. I put that in quotation marks because it caused the issue that it keeps deleting my account and thus my settings, but it got me past the notification issue.

Have you tried removing one of the account and adding it back again?

Re-adding might force the account and app to sync.

Tried that.  After reset it had me add back the accounts, which I did.  However, sync still did not work and then it showed duplicate accounts.  Strangely, it would only open account settings on the two new ones to delete, not on the original ones.

it is not letting me remove either of the accounts.  Manage accounts is not allowing me to open either of them for the remove account dialog.

Also tried to uninstall and reinstall, but the uninstall link is not highlighted and does not work, so this mail app is just a brick on my computer.

Same issue since the March 2017 updates.  Mail App WILL NOT sync any folder unless I sync them manually.  I cant receive, send, delete, archive, etc.. unless manually clicking on the sync option.  I use Outlook (web).. never any trouble before these "updates" pushed through.

HELP!  Mail App has become pointless.

Thanks.  Found that before and it did not help. My only hope is for Microsoft to put out a new update that fixes this problem.  I wonder if MS is customer centric enough to actually read these posts and follow through.

Sucks to go through this with a one month old computer.

Didn't help for me either.  MS fixes are the common "minor sync" issue fixes written 2 years ago.

Their feedback hub has 1000's of complaints on this... and the Windows Store feedback (most recent feedback) is in the 100's.  But if you want to see that, go the left of your screen and click on lowest ratings (when you go to the App within the Win Store... and I strongly urge everyone to provide their own feedback in both places).... MS just wont listen otherwise.

HELP!  Mail App has become pointless.

I too have had the same issue since the March updates - have spent hours trying to resolve it - emails come in perfectly to my phone and tablet but not to the laptop unless manually syncing them.

Also seemed to coincide with a message on screen saying outlook.com supports focused inbox forcing a Focused inbox on us - which I have switched to off now as didn't like having to check and refresh email boxes within 2 email accounts so time consuming!! Please can someone help us. Emails are set to display as they arrive and sync is put to on !! it's enough to drive you mad!!!
