1.    Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?

2.    Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?

3.    What is the make and model of the PC?

I have the same issue and it looks like my camera is there as the light keeps flickering. Dell support tried several software checks and can't fix it. I am unable to rollback the device driver. Given how many people are reporting this problem, it looks like it could be a Windows issue. What are you doing to fix it ASAP given how many people are currently working remotely?

I am also having the same fault issues.  However, my screen have these two errors:

1) 0xA00F4289 <ActiveCameraUnplugged> (0xC00D3EA2)   

or

2) 0xA00F4244 <NoCamerasAreAttached>

The screen switches between these 2 error messages.

I am running Windows 10 Version 1909.

I haven't been using the camera for a few years, so not sure what has caused the problem.

My laptop model is ASUS N750JK.

Moreover, the camera lights on the webcam will start blinking.

Tried the following methods:

Reinstall Device Manager for camera

Change the settings that all apps can use camera Under setttings -> privacy

Edit Regedit with FrameServerMode and set to 0 under Windows Platform.

Use Hardware & Devices Troubleshooter, this was done using msdt.exe under system 32

Uninstall and Reinstall Camera app using Powershell.

But nothing works.

Can please help?  Need to use the camera urgently.

I had the same problem for a while (including the flickering).

Also tried already everything from reregistration of the camera app to re-installing drivers etc. 

But, I found the solution (for my laptop at least) at another topic.

Apparantly, the camera is physically not good attached, so I pressed everything around the camera itself, and it fixed the problem!

I had Dell send me a replacement camera module and after i switched that out everything is working.
