Zoo Tycoon: Compete Colection Not Running On Windows 10

Today, I successfully installed Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection on my PC (on windows 10) but, when I run the shortcut of the game, it says: "This App can't run on this PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher." what do I do? i have even gone into the file location in disk c in program files, microsoft games and then zoo tycoon and then zoo.exe but it doesn't work! Although i have installed zoo tycoon 2 ultimate collection and it works properly but zt1 cc does not what do  i do?

To summarize do the following:

Locate your zoo tycoon folder. Usually in your main drive > program files or program files (x86) > Microsoft games > zoo tycoon

scroll down to zoo.ini and change the following values:

change screenwidth and height to your monitors real height and width values.

After this, click file > save then start the game.

Thanks but now I reinstalled Zoo tycoon complete collection and now it works but when I RUN IT it runs till the loading and then immediately shuts down what do I do? I also changed the screen width and screen height but it doesnot work

I notice the resolution fix was for Win8. This video was made prior to MS introducing DRM Blocking with Win10.

While the resolution fix should still help with some systems using Win10, if your game is on disc you will still need to use a

noCD fix/hack or the game will not run on Win10.

Unfortunately this will be a problem as well. I see that I mistakenly linked to a noCD for the base Zoo Tycoon game in my post on that

other thread, so this would be why it didn't work (I would edit my post there, but it's been locked).

They don't have a noCD for the Complete Collection on that site.

Maybe try these fixes.

1. Try to make a new user account and see if the problem persists.

2. Runin compatibility mode for windows 7 or 8 and try again

3. Clean boot your PC or run it in safe mode. Check if the game runs there.

4th. Go into the games ini again and change fullsceen to 0 and try again to run it.
