Your Microsoft license will expire soon

I keep getting this pop up that leads to this settings page.

what am I supposed to do?Image

Hi ggmaniscrazy
I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Generate following output
Windows Key+X > Click on either Powershell (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin)
Copy below and paste into Powershell / Cmd windows and Enter
slmgr.vbs /dlv

Look for the words KMS (Key Management Server), GVLK (Generic Volume License Key ). If KMS/GVLK appear - It is a volume license key used by organizations and is managed through Key Management System hosted on a centralized server. Hence, you can not use it. The key is not a valid key to be used. It is a counterfeit license. You will have to buy a new license for Windows and use that.

If KMS/GVLK don't appear, post the output here of Powershell script.

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help.
Sincerely yours,

Hi ggmaniscrazy,

I'm Stefano an Independent Advisor, here to help you.
I'm sorry to tell you that if yours isn't a business computer, you don't actually have a legit license for Windows 10. As I can see, you are using a VOLUME license on your Windows 10 copy, but VOLUME license are only meant for organizations and it isn't legal to use them on home use PC.
You need to buy a proper Product key in order to legally have a Windows 10 license. I suggest you to buy it from Microsoft Store, in order to be sure to buy a legal license that won't expire.
To be more sure about your license kind, you can:

1. Type "cmd" in windows search bar
2. Right click on "Command Prompt"
3. Select "Run as Administrator"
4. Type "slmgr /dlv" without quote and press ENTER

Please poste here the result, picking a screenshoot.

Hi ggmaniscrazy

Genuine Windows 10 does not expire . . .

Do you know the history of your PC or version of Windows?

Is your PC second hand or Windows was reinstalled by a PC Repair Shop?

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

slmgr.vbs /dlv

Please post a screenshot of the resulting dialog . . .
