You need an app for this task showing up when signing in

Hi,

I am trying to sign into my Microsoft account. To sign into my account I need to be connected to the WiFi which I am but when I am signing in a message comes up saying you need to have an app for this task.

I followed the directions online saying to restart outshoot and then do a system restore but that said I need to have an operating online network and now I don’t know where to go with this.

Are you able to access the recovery environment, and if so, are you selecting System Restore or a Windows Reset, you should not get a network error when performing a System Restore, please provide a photo of your screen showing the error you get when you try to start a System Restore.
