I'm not surprised you are having trouble with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

There seems to be some early adopter issues at this time with Windows 10 1709, if you can, I recommend you downgrade to your previous version until the Fall Creators Update matures with future cumulative updates.

Open Start > Settings > Update & security > Recovery > under Go back to my previous version of Windows 10, click Get started.

Hi Kiefer. I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year WIndows MVP here to help you.

There are serious problems with the Fall Creators Version 1709 update that go beyond the typical issues due to underlying inferior Factory or Upgrade installs. I had to roll back my pristine Clean install after it experienced cascading issues I could not contain. I'm preparing to Clean Install to see if that is enough.

So one thing to seriously consider is to roll back Version 1709 at Settings>Update & Security>Recovery, then hide the Update using the Hide Updates Tools downloaded from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930

Then wait for the version to mature.

You can also see if there is a crash file enabled and/or recorded to post it back for analysis:

The fact the BSOD is yellow may mean there are DIsplay malfunctions, so try also updating or reinstalling the latest Display driver from the PC or Adapter's Support Downloads webpage. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

You can also run the Blue Screen troubleshooter at Settings>Update & Security>Troubleshoot.

If you have general performance problems you can also always go over this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
