Win+R shortcut key not working after Windows 10 downloaded automatic updates.

Hi,

Windows 10 automatically downloaded some updates when Ii started my system this evening, namely KB3185614.

Now the problem is that the Win+R shortcut key to start Run dialog has stopped responding.

This same problem had occurred yesterday, when KB3172729 was installed and Win+R shortcut key stopped working and I had uninstall the update to get it back.

My question is why is this happening? If this is a bug, Microsoft please fix it and if it is a deliberate change, I would like to know the reason for this change.

Also why are the updates being forced to the Home users?

Try typing 'Run' into search box, will bring up run option just below Command Prompt

Hope this Helps!

It is possible your Windows Key is not working,

Try changing your keyboard layout to some other configuration and reboot

Then change back to your preferred configuration and reboot

Hope this Helps!
