Windows.old after a reset won't delete.

I have a Windows.old folder after a PC reset to factory settings that I can't delete, I see the folder in file explorer, I try to delete it but it says that I do not have permissions to do so I check disk cleanup and temporary files in settings app but there isn't previous installations of Windows or Windows.old name. I can't see Windows.old anywhere but file explorer. And the folder only has a few folders, first one is named Windows which has a System32 folder in it which has a WDI folder in it that I can't open. Can I even delete it or it will stay or disappear on its own.

Hello,

Please go to Settings > Storage > Temporary files and then click the checkbox for "Previous Windows installation(s)" and delete that and see if the folder goes away.

Hope this helps.

I said in my question that I cannot see Previous Windows installations in temporary files but I only can see the Windows.old folder in file explorer when I click on the C drive.
