windows XP Colour Change

I turned my computer on this morning, I run windows XP, and shortly afterwards my taskbar and window surrounds changed colour from blue to silver. Has my computer been infected or is this the result of an automatic upgrade?

·         Do you remember making any changes?

 

With your description, it appears that it could be the theme which has changed. Check to see if the following helps.

 

a.        Right-click on the desktop of your computer. Make sure you don't right-click the Taskbar.

b.       Select "Properties" from the drop-down menu list. This opens a dialog window where you can customize the appearance.

c.        Select the "Appearance" tab.

d.       Click the "Color Scheme" drop-down menu and choose among silver, olive and blue.

e.        Click "Apply" when you have decided on a color. Your computer will take a few moments to make the changes.
