Windows watermark manual removal

I just wanted to ask if it is legal to remove the activate windows watermark or enable dark theme with the Registry Editor?

The legal and official way to remove Windows Activation Watermark is to buy an official license for your required version of Windows 10.

Regarding your query, I don't think it's legal but it's definitely not official.

Your computer remains inactivated whether you see the watermark or not, so you're not fooling anyone.

Hello El0707,
I am Jaspreet Singh an independent advisor.
According to Microsoft TOC using windows after trial period without activating it is illegal. By removing the watermark you are doing exactly that so according to Microsoft terms it IS illegal.
