Windows Updates - keeps asking to install same update repeatedly

I keep getting the same updates wanting to install as important. I will install them then with the next couple of days I will get another notification and it is the same update. Not just once but happened with a few updates. I have screen shots of update history and those that I have hidden also. Can anyone tell me how to stop this. It has only started in the past couple of months if that. Thanks

1. Which updates?  Are they each listed in Installed Updates (not Update History)?

 

2a. Is Security Update for Windows 7 (KB2724197) listed in Installed Updates (not Update History)?

 

2b. How about Security Update for Windows 7 (KB2859537) and/or Security Update for Windows 7 (KB2644615)?

 

3. When did you hide those five (5) security updates?

Hi Robear

1. Updates KB2724197, KB2679255, KB2799494 & KB2676562. They are all in the update history as being successfully installed, and then came though again so I hid them (note this is my elderly parents computer and we taught them to install all windows updates) so that would not be installed again.

2a. KB2724197 is in the updates successful installed 9 times and in the hidden updates once (4th line down)

2b. I will have to get back you most likely in 24 hours like I said above doing this for my parents.

3. Please don't hold me to this exact I think KB2679255, KB2839229 & KB2813170 would be around 13 Aug; KB2799494 & KB 2724197 around 16 Aug and KB2676562 around 21 Aug. They have been hidden from about the 13 August 2013 (last 2 weeks only)

1. Are KB2724197, KB2679255, KB2799494 and/or KB2676562 listed in View installed updates?

 

2. Is KB2859537 and/or KB2644615 listed in View installed updates?

 

3. Are all of the other security updates you've hidden listed in View installed updates? [1]

[1] I don't care about the Optional, non-security updates like IE10 or KB2679255 (even though they were offered as Important updates).
