Hi, recently i have encountered a Windows Updates Error. The error code as the title. i did some research and it said that it was something related to firewall. And the article also mentioned to check the windows modules installer is set as "manual". After checking it, nothing wrong with it. and now i dont know how to solve the problem. Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advanced.

Hi Wenwen95, please try the following procedure:

Click your Start Button, just type cmd, then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run the following commands, one at a time and hit Enter after each one:

SC config wuauserv start= auto
SC config bits start= auto

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto

Close Command Prompt and restart your PC

Upon restart try installing update(s)

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Please execute both the steps

1. Run Built-in & Guided Walk through Windows Update troubleshooter
Built-in : Windows Key+X > Click Settings > Click Update & security > Click Troubleshoot > Click Windows Update > Click Run the Troubleshooter

Guided Walk though - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10164/...

2. Right click on Windows Start > Windows Powershell (Admin)
Type following (or copy and paste following) one by one and Enter after each

SC config wuauserv start= auto
SC config bits start= auto
SC config cryptsvc start= auto

Now restart your computer. Next time, these should get installed properly.
