I've been getting this same message on every device I've been imaging and it only recently started doing it. We are preventing feature updates that are less than 365 old so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it but the latest feature updates contain bugs that prevent users from getting to network mapped drives.

This is because your device is likely on 1909, whose support ended a week ago.

Please try installing the latest feature update manually and let us know.

The fastest way to get the upgrade is through the Media creation tool or ISO file.

Please download the Media Creation Tool and select "Upgrade this PC now".

https://aka.ms/Windows10 (Click Download Tool now)

Direct link for the Media Creation Tool: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209

All steps, including upgrading using the ISO file and Media creation tool, are covered here:

Install Windows 10 version 21H1 manually

https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2021/05/windows-10-version-21h1-offline.html

If the update fails, let us know the error code, and run the Setupdiag tool. Post the outcome of the same. We may need some logs depending on what the outcome is.

Download Setupdiag

Joel, that is right. But this forum is for Home consumers only so we assume the same. Have you tried a WU Reset?

I finally updated from 1909 to 20h2 after receiving the error message Windows is not update to date, several times. I did a system reset and kept files, then I did one without files, then I did another without the files. The last time I was able to receive updates with no errors. Windows is finally up to date. I do have to admit my PC was off for about 4 months, so I was not keeping up with the updates. I will make sure to keep with updates in the future.
