windows update not cleaning up

I have tried so many options

they are:

1] Delete contents of SoftwareDistribution folder manually

2] Delete contents of Windows.old folder manually

3] Run Disk Cleanup in Clean Boot State or Safe Mode

4] Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter

5] Run DISM to fix Component Store Corruption

6] sfc /scannow

none of them worked for me.

Please help!

You have run the sfc/DISM process and this corrects any errors?

Assuming this is a branded PC what does their system diagnostics show?

Have you been using any cleanup/speed up my PC third party utilities?

Thank you for your reply, did the command execute successfully? If not, could you please provide me with the error message?

To make sure this is not a display problem, please go into your C drive and see if you can find the windows.old folder, if not, then your update file has actually been deleted, but for some reason this option has not been updated, let's find this yuan'yi together

Thank you for your feedback, according to my understanding, you have completed all the cleanup operations done by windows update cleanup manually, this option should not appear in this screen again, have you confirmed that this option is still in your disk cleanup screen?

If so, I think it may be a display problem, please try to create a new administrator to see if this can be reproduced as well.

1. press windows+r and enter netplwiz

2. click add, choose not to log in with Microsoft account - fill in the new user name

3. select the new user account and click attribute

4. click the group member tab - change to administrator - click OK

Restart the computer and log in to the new administrator account, then, perform disk cleanup to confirm whether this option is displayed. If so, check whether the following capacity changes
