Windows update error 0xc1900209

When I try to update to version 1903 it says  "Your pc has a driver or service that isn't ready for this version of windows 10. No action is needed. Windows update will offer this version of windows 10 automatically once the issue has been resolved"

But it doesn't say which service. Please help so that I can update

Hi AyanC

That is very common with the Insider version of 1903, unplug all devices connected to your PC - printers, drives . . .etc. then try updating again . .

If that does not resolve this error, for now, there is nothing you can or should do, Microsoft are constantly working on that update and block certain architectures, but will later allow those architectures, when they have worked out what the problems are with a hardware component

Can you open the setuperr.log in C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther folder and check for a line containing " Failed to add user mode driver" - is there a driver listed?

Same issue for me. I ran the tool and found multiple (23!!) instances of BattlEye Anticheat as the cause of the issue. BattlEye is part of game installations and will not be easy to remove. I went into Services and disabled it then went into the program directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye\) and renamed all of the exe files (there were three of them) .bak.  I am rebooting then trying again.

Update:  It looks like I am past where I was getting kicked out previously (at 25% install) so for now, it looks like that was the problem.  I also had external usb drives that I disabled but I am not sure if they were a problem or if it was all being driven by BattlEye.  I am looking good but will update again shortly.
