Windows security pop-up sign in windows from File Explorer

I have a new Dell XPS 15 with Win 10 Pro. Windows File Explorer keeps on insistently popping up this window:

(the huge size is an unrelated windows 10 bug to do with mixed high-DPI laptop screens with low-DPI external monitors)

I have no idea what I'm supposed to be signing in to, and my computer/microsoft password does nothing. I have no network drives or shared folders. Homegroup is not enabled, and file/printer sharing is disabled. What is it, and how can I get rid of it?

Answer
Answer

Turning off services did not help. However I figured out it was caused by connecting to Ethernet, and I managed to get rid of the message by using

Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections

Right-clicking on the Ethernet connections and turning off the authentication option. (the connection worked fine both before and after doing this).

Clearly it's a Windows 10 bug - no window should ever pop-up without tell the user what it is for.
