Windows Security page Blank

Hi,

I use Windows 10, 2004 version,

Recently installed a crack software, so before that I had to disable antivirus(i use defender and nothing else)

So, after installation, i tried to enable antivirus but it says 'setting managed by administrator' (i use one account which is admin acc)

So, thinking maybe software caused the issue, i uninstalled and resarted pc.

But, now it shows no options in Windows Security,

Please let me know why,

Refer to the screenshots as well...

Thanks in advance,

Andrew

Answer

Hi Andrew,

No, I would never take control of your computer.  Sorry.

Putting PowerShell aside, did you attempt the Local Group Policy procedure that

I described. On your W10 PRO OS, that is supposed to "show" V & T P.

If nothing else that I have previously suggested, clears up this problem,

the only thing that I have left to suggest is a Repair Upgrade.

Repair Upgrade completely replaces your OS, but it retains your Apps and Files.

Your PC should be just as it is now, with the exception of your problem.

The only thing that it will not fix, is a problem that is caused by an application.

Since they are retained through the process.

The procedure is very solid, if the configuration of your PC is HDD only, or SSD only.

The combination of the two may be troublesome, and you should create a system

backup before proceeding.

If you elect to run the Repair, you first download the Creation Tool from here.

https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Locate the downloaded file, right click it and select "Run as Administrator".

Choose "Upgrade this PC now", and the procedure will begin.

Answer any questions logically, and when asked "what to keep", ensure that both the OS

and Apps & Files are selected.

The procedure will run for around an hour, and your PC will restart several times.

Sometimes it appears to be doing nothing. Be patient. When it is finished, your Sign-in

screen will appear.  Your problem should be behind you.

If it is not, then you will need to perform a Clean Boot procedure, to determine which of

your Apps is involved. Since they were not replaced during the Repair.

Good luck,  Glen
