Hi. Recently, Windows has had this feature where you must key in your password on Google to access a certain website or webpage rather than just having Google fill in the password for that website. However, I can't key in my password to access the webpage. It's like my keyboard doesn't work, but it's working fine. Just the Windows security pop-up box won't let me type anything. What should I do?

Hello Simran,
Good to see you in Microsoft Community.
Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version? You can check it by pressing the Win key + R key, and typing "winver", then press Enter, please take a screenshot/photo of it, and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.
Are you using the Chrome browser or the Microsoft Edge browser? Both of them have similar functionality (taking Edge browser as an example): In the Edge browser, you can enter "edge://settings/passwords" in the address bar and press Enter to open the settings page. Click on "More settings" and enable "Fill website password and sign in automatically", instead of other options. This way, when you visit websites and use passwords saved in your account to log in automatically, you won't need to enter your device password again.
Regarding the input issue, you can try using the on-screen keyboard as a temporary alternative to remove the password protection mentioned above. Win + R to open "Run", type "osk" and press Enter to open On-screen keyboard.
If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

This is the version of Windows I have.
I rarely use Edge and the majority of the time I use the Chrome browser.

Instead of having to enter your login password every time, you can set up automatic login on your Chrome browser's settings page (chrome://password-manager/settings).
