Hi NATSUME-, I'm Brian, an independent advisor.

I understand where you are coming from, let me help you on this one.

To isolate and fix the issue, we need to perform a Clean Boot to minimize the programs running on the computer background during startup.

To perform a Clean Boot on Windows 10, please follow the steps below:
1. Press the "Windows + R" key to open a Run box.
2. Type MSCONFIG and click OK.
3. On the General tab, click Selective startup.
4. Clear the Load startup items check box.
5. Click the Services tab.
6. Select the Hide all Microsoft services check box (at the bottom).
7. Click Disable all. (Applicable)
8. Click the Start-up tab.
9. Click Open Task Manager.
10. On the Start-up tab, right-click each enabled start-up item and select Disable.
11. Click OK.
12. Click Restart.

Cheers!

I am so sorry to be informed about your issue, the fact that the computer takes 3 to 5 hours just to switch on.

When was the last time that your computer had a full clean-up service and optimization or tune-up?

Though, I cannot recommend any tune-up programs that can be downloaded online.
Let us work together towards resolving this concern.

If after performing Clean Boot did not worked, you can take into considerations these steps below. Please try not to skip any step.

A) Delete Temporary Files. To delete your computer's temporary files:
1. Press and hold the "Windows Key" (located on the lower-left of the keyboard, between the CTRL and ALT) and then press the letter "R". If you successfully did the "Windows + R" or Run command, a small box should appear.
2. On the box, please type in "%TEMP%" and hit Enter on your keyboard. That should open the "Temp" folder.
3. Select all the files inside the Temp folder by clicking any file and then press and hold the "CTRL + A" command. This should highlight all the files.
4. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard and click Yes to confirm deleting. If some temp files are not deleted, just leave them as is. That is normal.

B) Adjust Windows Performance, and Increase Virtual Memory

1. Go to the Start Menu and click on Settings.
2. Type "performance" on the search box.
3. Choose Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
4. A new window will open to Performance Options, The first tab is Visual Effects, choose the "Adjust for best performance" option, then click Apply button.
5. Go to the Advanced tab and under the Virtual memory section, click on Change button.

Note: At the bottom of the new window, check what the Recommended value is and how it compares to Currently allocated.

6. If the current setting is significantly less than the recommended, Uncheck the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives box at the top of the same windows and then click on Custom size.
7. Enter the Recommended value in the Initial Size box, and a larger figure in the Maximum size box.

Example:
Initial Size: 500
Maximum Size: 1000

8. Click OK to save the new settings, and another OK button to exit the Performance Option window.
9. Restart the computer.

Please let me know, if the issue persists, so I guide you thru the more advance troubleshooting.

Cheers!

I appreciate your patience, and responses to this particular case, NATSUME-.

I truly appreciate taking your time to send a screen shot of what has been done.

With regards to increasing the Virtual Memory, I can recommend to have the Initial Size at 1400 value, and for the Maximum Size at 2800 value.

Because increasing the allocated size to a greater value could consume more disk space on your system drive (C:).

Since performing the previous troubleshooting did not resolved the problem, I will provide you an advance level of workarounds.

A) Maximize the use of the PC capacity

To perform a Clean Boot on Windows 10, please follow the steps below:
1. Press the "Windows + R" key to open a Run box.
2. Type MSCONFIG and click OK.
3. On the Boot tab, click Advanced options.
4. Enable or put a check on "Number of processors", and scroll down to the greater number available.
5. Click Ok, click Apply, the Click Ok to close the window.

Note: Kindly check the image that I attached for better guidance. You will be prompted to restart the computer, you have the choice if you want to skip restarting in order to proceed to the next advanced workarounds.

B. Create or Change HungAppTimeout Value

Please follow the steps below:
1. Press the "Windows + R" key to open a Run box.
2. Type REGEDIT, and click on OK to open Registry Editor.
3. Navigate to the key below in the left pane of Registry Editor.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

3. In the right pane of the Desktop key, double click/tap on the HungAppTimeout string value to modify it.

Note: If you do not have a HungAppTimeout string value, then right click or press and hold on an empty space in the right pane of the Desktop key, click on New, click on String Value, type HungAppTimeout for the name, and press Enter.

4. Type in 2000 for the HungAppTimeout value, and click on OK.

C) Create or Change WaitToKillAppTimeout Value

Kindly follow the steps below:
1. Press the "Windows + R" key to open a Run box.
2. Type REGEDIT, and click on OK to open Registry Editor.
3. Navigate to the key below in the left pane of Registry Editor.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

3. In the right pane of the Desktop key, double click/tap on the WaitToKillAppTimeout string value to modify it.

Note: If you do not have a WaitToKillAppTimeout string value, then right click or press and hold on an empty space in the right pane of the Desktop key, click on New, click on String Value, type WaitToKillAppTimeout for the name, and press Enter.

4. Type in 2000 for the WaitToKillAppTimeout value, and click on OK.

5. Restart the computer.

In as much as I want to send more screen shots, we are limited to sending 1 image only.

Just let me know if you encounter any confusions along the process, and I will help you out.

Cheers!
