Alternatively, you can try the following methods first to see if they work. If it didn't solve your problem, I look forward to your reply and I will continue to provide help.

  1. Reboot to the Windows Recovery Environment. Recovery options in Windows - Microsoft Support

  2. Now that you're in winRE, on the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot Advanced options

  3. On the Advanced options screen that appears, click the Command Prompt.

  4. At the command prompt, type bootrec /FixMbr and press Enter on the keyboard.

NOTE: A message should appear after each command that the process completed successfully. The command prompt will then reappear, allowing you to type the next command in the list of steps below.

  5. Type bootrec /fixboot and press Enter.

  6. Type bootrec /ScanOs and press Enter.

  7. Type bootrec /RebuildBcd and press Enter.

NOTE: A prompt for Total identified Windows installations: may now appear with the choices of Add installation to boot list? Yes. Type Y for Yes to continue with the rebuild process.

  8. Finally, type Exit and press Enter.

  9. The computer should reboot and allow the refresh or repair of Windows to complete.

If there's anything that's not clear, don't hesitate to let me know.

Sincerely

Mavis - | Microsoft MSFT Community Support Specialist

Which Windows version is installed? ( 7, 8, 10, 11, etc. )

Please take pictures of the error messages and / or codes > post share links into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

Find two flash drives that you can format (> or = 8 GB).

If only one flash drive can be found then the first flash drive can be repurposed.

1) On a working computer create a bootable Sea Tools flash drive:

Run the Long Generic test > take pictures > post images or share links into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

2) On a working computer create a bootable Media Creation Tool (MCT) (Windows iso):

I'm sorry to hear that the above methods failed to solve your problem.

Currently, I want to know whether you chose to keep files when resetting? If you no longer need the data and files in this device, I would like to suggest that you can reinstall Windows. If you still need data files in the device, you can back them up first, and then reinstall them to avoid losing files.

You can use installation media (a USB flash drive or DVD) to install a new copy of Windows, perform a clean installation, or reinstall Windows. Create installation media for Windows - Microsoft Support

To create installation media, go to the Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com), where you'll find step-by-step instructions.

Image

Then run the program, select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another PC”, and then choose Language, Version, Architecture(if you are not sure about these, choose "Use the recommended options for this PC"), then select "ISO file" in the "Select Media to Use" interface, and then a windows ISO file will be downloaded to your disk (about 4-5GB in size, it is recommended that you choose a non-system disk).

To reinstall Windows 10 by starting your PC using installation media:

  1. Connect the installation media you created to your PC.

  2. Start your PC using the installation media.

Note: Check with the PC manufacturer on how to start the PC using media.

  3. When Windows Setup starts, select Next and then Install now.

  4. If you have a Windows 10 product key, enter it when prompted. Otherwise, select I don’t have a product key.

  5. If prompted, select a Windows edition (e.g. Home, Pro) to install and then select Next.

  6. When prompted to choose a type of installation, select Custom: Install Windows only (advanced).

  7. Select the disk or partition to which Windows 10 should be installed.

Note: If you suspect that your PC has been infected, consider deleting the existing partitions and reinstalling Windows 10 onto a clean disk. Your data on any deleted partitions will be lost.

  8. Select Next to start reinstalling Windows 10 on your PC.

Your PC will restart several times during the reinstallation.

Hope the above can be helpful.
