Windows Mixed Reality Error code 1-4

I keep getting this error for Windows Mixed Reality

Check your display cable

Make sure your display cable is plugged in correctly (it is) Error Code 1-4 

I’ve tried restarting my PC unplugging it and plugging it back in and nothing works, Any fix?

I understand that you are receiving Error 1-4 in Windows Mixed Reality. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.

 

However, please let us know:

 

  • What is the make and model of the computer?

  • What is the make and model of the headset?

 

I would suggest you to refer the section I am getting a "Check your display cable" error from the article Troubleshooting Windows Mixed Reality and see if that helps.

 

You may also want to check the troubleshooting steps under I am getting a "Something Went Wrong" error code for the error code 1-4 from the above mentioned article.

 

Additionally, you can also check the suggestions by Andre for Directly Replied on August 14, 2019 from the thread Windows mixed reality error code 1-4.
