1.        What happens when you try to open .tgz files?

2.        Which version of Windows Media Player are you using?


.tgz file is not supported by Windows Media Player.

You may use your favorite search engine to download and install the latest codec for Windows Media Player. Thereafter, check if you are able to play .tgz files.
