Whenever I try to install anything I get this: "Windows ® installer has stopped working."
Problem started either yesterday or today. Don't know if this has anything to do with what is going on but the computer got a blue screen while running a scan with Norton anti-virus.
When I input msiexec /? I get the same thing: "Windows ® installer has stopped working."
-----
Also if I go here C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and run msiexec.exe it I get this:

However If I go to "C:\Windows\System32" and run the msiexec.exe that is there I get:
"Windows ® installer has stopped working."
And another window that says:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000005). Click OK to terminate the application.

Edit:
I went to HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/msiserver
Then changed the key "ImagePath" from "%systemroot%system32\msiexec /V" to "%systemroot%SysWOW64\msiexec /V
I was able to install only some programs.
I was able to install Music Rescue. But I was not able to install iTunes 9.2

I'm running Vista Home Premium:
Version: 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Build 6002

How Do I fix this?
