Hi Hulkie -
I'm Kevin B. Independent advisor and a Windows user like you. I do apologize for the inconvenience that you experiencing right now, let me help you sort things out.
How did you create the USB bootable media to install windows on your computer?
The error message that you receive indicates that either the ISO that was downloaded or the creation of the bootable media is corrupted. Please follow the steps on the link below to create the installation media and use it to install on your computer.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cre...
If the method won't work, please try to create the installation media manually by following the steps below
1. Download an ISO file of windows 10 and save it on your desktop.
2. Insert the SD card on the computer and make sure that computer detects the drive (this process will wipe everything out on the drive. Make sure to create backup of your drive before you proceed to the next step.)
3. Open the command with administrator access (Run as Administrator)
4. Type the below command and press enter on each command.
Diskpart
List Disk
Select Disk # >> (Change the # which corresponds to the number of the SD drive)
Clean
Create Partition Primary
Select Partition 1
Active
Format fs=NTFS
Formatting will take some minutes. Wait until the process completes. After format completes, type the below command and press enter
Assign
Exit
Now the the SD card has been formatted, you need to update the boot code of inside the SD drive. To do that open the command prompt again with admin access and type the below command.
* Mount the ISO file on your computer by right click on it and select open with and select explorer. By default windows will mount the ISO on your computer. Check the drive letter assigned on the ISO file and take note of it.
Assuming that the drive letter is G drive for the ISO file, type the below command and press enter after each command.
G:
cd boot
bootsect.exe /nt60 Y: >> Change the Y: to the drive letter which corresponds the SD card
wait until boot code is updated to the SD card. Once done copy everything on the ISO file going to SD card. Once done, you can now use the SD card to boot from Windows.
Hope this will help and have a bless day!
Thanks.
Kevin B.
