Windows Hello option not showing in sign-in options screen windows10 pro

hello, i can't see Windows Hello option in sign-in options screen

i verify my account and i set

pin code

and still not shown!..

Hi,

For Windows 10 'Hello' to work, your computer needs to have a special "depth camera" which uses infrared sensors to tell far more accurately who you are.

For security reasons, unless you have one of these cameras, Windows Hello will not be available for your computer.

Maybe somebody will make a registry edit to make this work for all computers? Or a mod? But for now, you'll need to use old fashioned passwords...

Hi, I have the same problem. But I'm only trying to get my fingerprint scanner working.

Does this mean than without a useable camera I can't use the fingerprint scanner, which I already have?

Yes without a useable camera u can't use the fingerprint scanner at all

till someone make a registry edit to make this work for all

As Mohammad said, I do not believe you can use Hello without a camera, even if it is to use a fingerprint scanner.

However, In September, Microsoft are rumored to be releasing a bug fixing/performance enhancing update which may well allow people like you to use Hello. This is just my speculation though, don't take my word for it.
