I'm using Windows 11. But it used to happen on Windows 10, too.
After using for some hours (sometimes 1-2 hours, sometimes many more), mostly while using Edge or leaving Spotify opened, or even sometimes when I leave the PC idling for long hours, the system crashes and then freezes. At first, the mouse clicks start not to respond, then it all freezes. I can only shut it down by the power button of the PC case.
So I'm using MS Edge, Spotify, Kaspersky Internet Security, and have an Nvidia graphics card with the latest drivers.
In the early days, disabling the Hardware Acceleration setting on Edge used to fix it. But now it does not help anymore. Spotify has a similar setting as well, so I'm imagining it has something to do with the GPU. Or perhaps some memory leak?
My machine is ASUS ROG STRIX GL12CX. I couldn't identify the source of this issue. Can anyone help?
