I have seen that many people have the same or similar problem but where ever I've looked I could not find a solution to my problem so I've come to the conclusion that there must be certain things which are preventing me from following the steps I am prompted
Firstly, when I start up my computer it says "windows has failed to start"
It then goes on to say that I should insert my windows installation disk and restart my computer but when I do that it just goes back to the same screen. I think I might know the reason this is happening, I own windows 7 home premiumbut when the free windows
10 update came out I downloaded it naturally.
I have tried launching the boot menu on startup by pressing F8 but all it does with that is flash something so quicklythat I can't read it then go back to the windows failed to start.
I have tried all the different menus and looked everywhere on the internet but I couldnt find a way to fix this problem. Will I have to get win 10 as a hard copy on a disk and install it with that?
I am running a custom computer (can't remember all the specs) which is about 2-3 years old.
Also, I have some very important files on my computer which I do not while fixing this problem.
