Windows Essentials Error: 0x80040705

I uninstalled Windows Essentials to download the new 2012 version, but now it won't let me. It consistently says:

"Couldn't install programs
Couldn't install there programs: Mail, Messanger, Family Safety, Photogallery and Move maker, Writer
An unknown error occurred. 
Error: 0x80040705 
Source: dotNet40"

I tried a few things but none have worked. I have a 64 bit. How can I fix this and download it properly?

In-order to work on installing Windows Essentials 2012 version, refer to the following method.
