Windows Defender Firewall Scam

I Just received this email and called the number. He told me he needed remote access to my computer in order to send me the cancellation notice. Total scam. Anyone else have this issue?

Here is the email I received today.

Your subscription for Windows Defender has been successfully renewed and updated. The debited amount will be reflected within next 24 to 48 hrs on your account statement.

I received the same today from a different email and phone.  Notice the email - it is a gmail account = NOT a business.  I had one last week from norton lifelock. I spoke to Norton and they did not send it.

SCAM!

You obviously got the "bargain" version.  Here was my scam notice, inflation in Nigeria??
