Windows apps "no applicable app licence found"

Hello,

When I open a photo in the windows photos app, the app suddenly closes and I get an error box saying "no applicable app licence found". This just started happening, and I can't find a fix for it. Other apps seem to be working, like weather, and people, however some other apps I downloaded are giving the same error.

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Hello,

Thank you for keeping us updated.

Let us try to Re-register Windows Store apps and check if it helps.

  1. Press Windows Key + S and type powershell

  2. Right-click on Windows PowerShell and choose Run as administrator.

  3. In the PowerShell command window, type following command and hit Enter:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

     4. Restart the computer.

Hope it helps.

Do update us with the status, we are glad to assist you further.

Thanks & regards,

Abdul Malik
