We are a small business in Vietnam. We are using unregistered Windows and Office for our office PCs.
We are looking to purchase 100 licenses Windows Pro and Office for our PCs.
We are offered 2 options:
+ Physical keys: comes with a box of CD and key. Have to register each computer one by one (they sent us sample package, looks genuine)
+ Digital volume keys: all computers managed easily with one key on Microsoft portal
Physical keys are half priced compared to digital keys. We have limited budget, so we are leaning on physical keys.
My question:
1. Is it legal (as per Microsoft terms) to choose physical keys option for our business? Some sellers told us using physical keys is not legal for my business, and that we will fined when audited. The physical keys are only for new computers. Our computers are used, the only way is to purchase digital keys.
2. Is there any official link to Microsoft terms saying that we are not legitimate when using Physical keys.
