windows 8 error driver_irql_not_less_or_equal iastorA.sys

For the last two weeks I have been getting the Blue Screen of Death about every 15 minutes, sometimes more frequently. Here is a link for my mini dump files: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=82B332C556269144!321&authkey=!AD6Op1rG-MKqPIs Please help!

The minidump files show a consistent DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) stop error referencing the iaStorA.sys:

BUCKET_ID:  AV_iaStorA+5bd88

The iaStorA.sys, which is dated Sep 18, 2012, is the Intel storage driver.

Was this driver recently updated perhaps via Windows Update?

Also, can you run the following utility from Intel and see if it picks up any updates:

I believe that driver was recently updated. Originally my tiles were unresponsive and the recovery options all resulted in errors, So I went on the same site that you have posted the link to, and downloaded all the updates that it recommended. But, it just made things worse. Is there any way I could remove this update so my computer does not restart every 15 min? Thanks for helping!

Can you try uninstalling the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" driver that is now installed using "Uninstall a program"  and then install the following one from Dell for the computer:

That didn't work. I went to the uninstall programs in control panel and deleted the Intel rapid store technology that was downloaded 1/4/2013 and then installed the link that was provided above but the blue screen of death still keeps on coming up every 15 min.

At this point, if you have not already, you may want to back up any critical data.

Can you provide the most recent minidump files to see if there is any change in the error?

There does not appear to be any new minidump files.

One thing I might suggest is to run the following two applications just to see if they pick anything up:

TDSSKiller:

http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208283363

Malwarebytes Antimalware (free version - decline the invitation to install the full version trial) - do a "Quick Scan":

my HP laptop started to have this message as well.  After a clean install it still had this message.  I finally narrowed it down.  I have a hybrid drive - It has a Samsung 32GB solid state drive along with the regular hard drive.  When I physically remove that solid state drive - my computer is fine.  When I reinstall it - I get the error.  I've updated the driver, but I think I have a bad SSD.
