how to repair acer5610z series..model no BL50..windows 7..home premium..intel pentiun dual core inside cant figure out  (minimal bash -like line editing is supported..for the first word ..TAB lists the possible command completions anywhere else TAB lists the possible completion of a device/filename.........................................GRUB4DOS  0.4.4 2009-09-03, memory 638k /1310m, Menuend: 0x   new at this how hard is repair on this lap can i do this myself.....PLEASE HELP....THANK YOU

Hi,

 

Grub4dos is a file of Unix\Linux Operating system. The meaning of error is “The loader requires the BOOTMGR file to be present in the root of the disc”.

 

1. When do you receive the error message? For Example: when you try to start the computer using the Disc.

2. Have you made any recent changes to the computer prior to this issue?

3. Was the computer installed with any other Windows or non-Windows Operating system? For Example: UNIX, Linux, Windows Vista, or Windows 2008, etc.
