Windows 11 Update has incorrect update packages pending

My Dell BIOS is version 1.11.0, however Windows Update lists the install Dell BIOS version 1.10.0.

Also erroneously included are these drivers, all of which are installed.

I've just recovered this system from a BIOS update issue and now believe Windows is responsible for it. There is no need to back-rev the BIOS. Need instructions on how to prevent this update from happening.

Hi , jhowa182.

Generally, the Windows update system will identify the drivers according to the model of the card and its components, probably what has already been identified will still remain in the optional update. You can clear the cache of updates using:

1. Go in the search bar put disk cleanup.

2. Select the clean system files option..

Note: if the option doesn't appear, don't worry about saying that the system files are already in the list.

3. Mark all but the Download option and press ok, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.
