Hello,
I need help with an issue I’m experiencing on Windows 11. The system runs extremely slow on battery, making it practically unusable. However, when plugged in, it runs incredibly smooth.
I’ve tried several solutions, including:
Changing the power plan
Updating the graphics drivers
Setting the system to high performance via both settings and the Intel Graphics Control Panel
Disabling BD PROCHOT
Updating the BIOS
Disabling the dedicated GPU
Despite these attempts, the problem persists.
Additionally, I’ve performed a clean installation of Windows, repaired corrupted files, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.
Interestingly, Windows 10 runs flawlessly, both on battery and when plugged in. But Windows 11 is completely unusable on battery power.
Can anyone suggest further steps or explain why this might be happening? It’s really frustrating. 😢
Here are my laptop specifications:
Lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3
Intel i5 10th Gen H-Series
8GB RAM
238GB SSD
1TB HDD
4GB UHD Graphics
4GB Nvidia GTX 1650
Thank you in advance for your help!
