Hi Stefano,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Kindly go to Start > Settings > Activation > Troubleshoot > What error code do you see?

What error code do you see when you enter the product key?

Have you replaced any hardware parts so far?
Sincerely,

Hi,

I didn't replace anything about HW, only update to 24H2.

I have recovered with the "go back" the previous update and everything works fine now.

So, I can't replicate the error now, but If I have collect right bedore:

0) the error showed after the update is: 0Xc004f213

1) no error with troubleshoot

2) when I try to reinsert the product key I receive the error: 0X80041023

Regards

Yes, I see the message in windows, but the problem is before the update the Key is inserted and work correctly. After the update the key is lost and it's not possible to re-insert

OEM key is tied to the motherboard and Windows Update should not affect it. May I know where did you get the license key? Is the version of Windows you are currently using the latest one?

I bought in June 2024 a PC assembled with OEM license for WIN 11 Pro (see photo I attached at the beginning without key). Also if you see the first photo it says: Product key channel: oem: nonslp.

Before the 24H2 update I was updated to the latest Windows 11 patches available from Windows Update.

After the update, Win 11 pro doesn't recognize the OEM license and require a new key. With the go-back the OEM license has been restored and now Win 11 Pro is active.

Thanks for the update.

This indicates that the issue might be related to how the 24H2 update handles activation for OEM licenses.

If you plan to update it again, you might need to recheck your activation status.

If Windows does not recognize the OEM license you must contact Microsoft support.
