Your 6th gen Intel core i7 6700 processor is not compatible with Windows 11, and that will be blocking the new version of Windows 11 from installing, what method did you use to install Windows 11, was that the registry edit method Microsoft previously provided?

Wow. Bummer. Windows 11 Pro came pre-installed, and it has been running great, but I don't really know what they did. The machine was a gift, so I never really dug into it other than just taking updates as they came.

Am I just stuck where I am?

Sorry, I was offline, when Microsoft released version 24H2 of Windows 11, they indicated they were closing that registry tweak to allow Windows 11 to be installed on unsupported hardware, as far as I know that is no longer possible, the registry edit they previously provided is on this link, possible try that and use the latest Windows 11 ISO to perform an in-place upgrade:

I have the same issue, and I think I have the supported processor, but I still have the same held up with windows update and end of service message. I can't use the PC Health Check Tool since I am already running Windows 11 Pro. No Registry Tweak was performed, but the OS was installed by the Manufacturer from whom I got the device.

What options do I have?

Processor - 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1335U, 2500 Mhz, 10 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

You can install 23H2 using the following package. If your Windows 11 version is "22H2" and the build number is higher than "22621.2506", you can install the enablement package, which easily upgrades the OS to 23H2.

  https://catalog.sf.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com/filestreamingservice/files/caa3ff4a-6420-4341-aeae-33b2d7f463be/public/windows11.0-kb5027397-x64_3a9c368e239bb928c32a790cf1663338d2cad472.msu

23H2 is supported till November 2025.

(or)

Upgrade to 24H2 using the ISO.
