Yes and I have all codecs installed, it doesn't even play video of simple mp4 codec only the audio. This problem is only with the new Windows 11 Media Player all other players including the legacy Windows Media Player have no issues. And it worked fine until some Windows update or app update in Windows app store that broke it. The same problem with Movies & TV app, as I understand that this problem comes from that Microsoft eliminated the ability of Movies & TV app for playing video files and restricted it only for playing purchased movies and TV shows by removing all codecs from the Movies and TV app to restrict it should only play purchased from within the Movies & TV app so along also removed all codecs from the Media Player.

Kindly ensure Video Enhancement is disabled. Go to Settings > Apps > Video Playback > Turn off “Process video automatically to enhance it (depends on your device hardware).
If you have tried the provided troubleshooting steps and you are assured the issue starts occurring after the latest update, I suggest submitting feedback to Microsoft developers to work on it since it is not a known issue:

I found the cause of the problem and eventually solved it. I have two graphics drivers on my system and when I changed it to Invidia there was no problem only when I set it to Intel Iris and I remembered that a while ago installation of intel drivers got interrupted while in process so I reinstalled the Intel iris graphic drivers and it got fixed

See, here's the thing. It is telling me to go to tools and allow Codecs. I should not have to be a developer to use a laptop! This is why Apple is kicking Microsoft's computer butt. I have all Apple products but I am clinging to my PC laptop. I hope it's not time for me to switch that too. Sad face.
