Windows 11 keyboard typing backwards

Hello,

I have a problem with windows 11.

When I'm in middle of work/typing, the cursor would constantly automatically move to the begining, it would look like I'm typing backwards.

I've googled it and try all solutions, but nothing helped yet..

Do you have any ideas?

P.S. I am using wireless keyboard and monitor (connected with HDMI). When I close the laptop, then I can type normal on wireless keyboard..

Thanks!

Hello mateo jerkovic, welcome to the Microsoft community!

According to your feedback, you are experiencing the Windows 11 keyboard typing backwards issue!

I would like to confirm with you if you change the keyboard to test if the issue still occurs?

You can also try clicking on the windows key > Settings > Time and Language > Language and Region

Then delete your input method and download it again.

If it still doesn't work, you can try clean boot to see if there is any third party software interfering with it.

The method is as follows

1. Click Windows+R and type msconfig.

2. Open System Configuration, select General tab - Selective Startup.

3. Remove the checkbox of Load startup items.

4. Go to the Services tab - click Hide all microsoft services in the lower left corner, and then click Disable all.

5. Click OK and restart your computer. (Be sure to select Hide all microsoft services first and then click Disable all, otherwise it may lead to unforeseen problems such as not being able to access the system.)

6. Check if the problem will reappear.

DISCLAIMER: Clean Boot is a way to start Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if background programs are interfering with your games or programs and help you figure out the cause of the problem. It will help you get back on track.

Also, look at clicking the windows key > search and open device manager > uninstall keyboard driver

Then reboot and try if that solves your problem

I hope the above information is helpful to you
