I recently purchased an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 and am in the process of setting it up the way I want it. I have changed all the options to "never" for screen timeout and sleep mode. I have gone to all variations of my power settings and ensured that all options are set to "never". I have used both terminal and command prompt to do the same. Nothing is working. However, the operating system is completely ignoring these settings. It turns off my screen every three minutes. I have no screensaver or password, and there are no other programs on this computer that could be causing this problem. As I am far from the only person having this problem, it is very clear that the issue is with the OS itself, and needs to be fixed with an update. If I am off-base, then a Microsoft representative needs to tell me exactly how to fix it without using links or suggesting the installation of additional programs.

Hello,kagji kagjinson
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.
I understand that your computer has a problem with the screen turning off every three minutes. Considering that this is a new computer, it's probably related to the pre-installed management software or the Windows media provided by the manufacturer.
First of all, please check if this Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 comes with some of Acer's own PC management software pre-installed, such as Acer Care Center and Acer Quick Access. These programs may affect the power management settings, so we recommend that you double-check the power management-related options of these programs to see if there are any settings related to screen timeout, battery management, etc.
Secondly, even if you say that there is no other software that may have an effect, you still need to double-check if you have installed any third-party software that may interfere with power management, such as some graphics card drivers, power management tools, etc. We recommend that you visit the Acer manufacturer's website. We recommend that you go to the Acer manufacturer's website and download the latest version of the drivers (including graphics, power and battery management, etc.), install them on your system, and then reboot the device to make it work correctly.
If the above steps do not solve the problem, we can not rule out the possibility that the problem may be with the Windows system itself, and we recommend that you install the Windows 11 Installation Media provided by Microsoft's official channels. If the problem persists after reinstalling the system, please be concerned that there may be a hardware failure, and we recommend that you consult Acer's after-sales technical support for warranty repair.
After you refer to the above steps, you can share some information in this thread and I will answer your questions further. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
