Just to confirm, when you try to delete something from file explorer using the delete button on the keyboard. It doesn't work correct?

While using Windows Explorer, I cannot seem to delete a folder or multiple folders in a timely manner. Actually, the delete function doesn't seem to work at all most of the time. Note: the folders/files I'm attempting to delete are on a flash drive (connected to a USB port). My desktop PC is only 3 months old (Dell Inspiron 3030).
