Windows 11 24H2 Graphic and Display issues

Fix this, and help me rollback to a working driver/setup

Display issues... Alienware Area 51m - R2. nvidia 2080 Super.

- delay/freeze/performance issue when changing between resolutions/aspect ratios... screen goes black for long period of time, flickers... on Win11 23H2 it was smooth.

- extending to external displays

Was waiting for a fix... rolled back to 23H2, but Windows pushed the 24H2 update again in March,

- and now my machine says the previous (23H2) files are not there to rollback to...

-- Thanks MSFT!!

I've updated to newest Intel UHD Graphic 630 driver (31.0.101.2134 .... from 2130) and to newest nvidia driver (572.70)

- but this has not helped.

I've seen a couple other old threads where MSFT reps try to point at the hardware developers, like ASUS; or software developers like Adobe;

- but we are experiencing this on DELL / Alienware too, with NVIDIAs

- this was a non-issue in Windows 11 23H2.... you pushed these updates....

Hello,

I would recommend uninstalling your graphics card drivers completely using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and reinstalling a clean copy, although you might have already done this.

To do this, download DDU from https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html and install it, but restart in Safe Mode and uninstall the graphics drivers.

Then, go to both NVIDIA and Intel's website and install an older copy of the graphics card drivers.

Let me know how this goes.
