WINDOWS 11 2022 UPDATE - WEIRD ICON (DO NOT DISTURB)

Hi, I just updated to the new windows 11 version 22H2. I noticed this weird icon for DO NOT DISTURB in the taskbar. It is different from the official screenshots of from microsoft. Mine only looks like a square or a box. I restarted several times but still no changes. Maybye someone can help. Thanks.

Hi Antique,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The icons in Windows are part of the system font family (Segoe) that is used in Windows 11, that square icon indicates one of the Segoe fonts is corrupt.

Do you have access to another PC with 2h2 installed?

If you do, in File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\Fonts, then search for Segoe

When the search completes, copy all Segoe fonts onto a USB drive

Then on your PC copy those fonts into your C:\Windows\Fonts folder and restart (not shut down) your PC.
